We also focus on reducing waste, recycling, offering organic and vegetarian food, using ecologic cleaning detergents and paper towels and making traveling in nature possible.
Most of the food we offer comes from the nature and wilderness. Rymättylä is the most renowned fishing rural municipality of Finland. We fish some of the prey ourself. We prepare all the fish at the location by warm- and cold smoking, flaming on open fire, broiling and so on. -It is the best from the net through oven onto the dining table.

The electricity we use in Herrankukkaro is produced with 100% renewable energy sources.
We have signed contract according energy competency. We are doing our part in decreasing energy and greenhouse gas.
We use renewable wood in construction according to possibilities. We also avoid using unnecessary chemicals.
We are working with ”Pidä Saaristo Siistinä ry” to help keeping the archiopelago clean.
We have arranged financial support in co-operation with Positiivarit to for example help infection patients in children’s hospitals. Since 1995 we have worked in Lotus Hill ry – support project that we incorporated. It takes place in Sri Lanka to better the lives of local deprived and disabled people.
We have built homes, lavatories, roofs, waterchambers, wells and a health-care center. We have equiped children’s homes and reception centers and centers for the disabled. In addition, we have built the first education center of the island for disabled children.
We have supplied school supplies, school uniforms, hygiene products and made attending school possible for thousands of poor children. We have also hired medical doctors and teachers in the area.
